Jampacked with Old
Testament references, Spadaro demonstrates conclusively that Matthew records
that Jesus (i.e. YHWH) came, paradoxically, to condemn and to save His people.
The priesthood and
priestly-class had a lot to answer for. Spadoro brilliantly shows Jesus calling
them to account in Matthew's Gospel.
